UNESCO EVENT - pART 2
Exploring Frontiers in Irish Financial Services in Climate Change “A Futures Literacy Lab”.
Over the last few decades financial services in Ireland have played an indispensable role in fostering innovation and adaptation to opportunities and threats at home and in the global economy. Co-designed with a specialised team from UNESCO this Lab will provide a structured process for participants to examine the assumptions that shape their images of the future and push theenvelope of creative thinking. Trade wars, Brexit, climate change induced disruption, technological breakthroughs, populist fear and nostalgia, migratory waves, resentments of entrenched inequalities, multiplying policy imperatives, and more, all demand outside-the-box thinking and a processes up to the task of such thinking. Invitation only.
Climate Finance Week closes with a light lunch for invited guests.
Organised by Sustainable Nation Ireland, EU EIT Climate KIC, UNESCO
